An example of the consequences of treating students as customers who pay fees. The BBC Radio 4 new and current affairs programme Today, of 20th April 2023, went into further detail. Apparently students complain if they do not get at least a 2:1 degree. They believe they are not getting value for money—a 2:2 or less is not what they paid for.
