"In the future, decision makers will increasingly make use of artificial intelligence to gather knowledge for policy decisions. This makes for a number of demands and calls for caution, but also opens up new opportunities. These are the words of AAU Professor David Budtz Pedersen who, along with a team of international research colleagues, just published an article in the renowned journal Nature."

A gushing report that an AAU professor has published 'an article' in Nature (see one of the URLs and the attached PDF).
The abstract to the AAU Update piece is compelling in its saying-a-lot-without-saying-anythingness—whoever would have guessed that AI creates "a number of demands and calls for caution, but also opens up new opportunities." Golly! This is the kind of on-the-one-hand . . . but-on-the-other-hand style that ChatGPT should be proud of. This is an example of polishing the proverbial turd. The 'article' in Nature is actually a 'comment'—thus it does not represent research, but, rather, is . . . a comment and so is less than four sides—and the AAU professor mentioned is eighth in a list of nine authors. One wonders what his revelatory contribution might be but he's no doubt well on his way to becoming an international star academic!
